NEIR Application FAQ

Open NEIR application, below remember password you will see Register button

You can change it 3 languages Roman urdu,Pashto and Sindhi. It can easily be changed by clicking on icon on main page of login page.

It seems like you are not check-in into the system. In this situation, you have to mark your attendance by clicking on “Check-in” inside in main dashboard page. Clicking on “Check-in” will lead you to add temperature of ILR and ILR Status from where you will take vaccine. Below is the Alarm(Yes/No) and then click on Done. Doing so, you will complete checked-into the system and also your attendance will be uploaded.

Child registration/Vaccination tab is used when child comes first time for vaccination. You will enroll the child into system by giving qr code and relevant details needed to fill out.

Follow-up means repeating child and when a child is enrolled inside child registration he/she comes for 2nd visit, you just have to scan the qr code in followup to get his previous saved data.

Woman registration/Vaccination tab is used when Woman comes first time for vaccination. You will enroll the Woman into system by giving qr code and relevant details needed to fill out.

Follow-up means repeating woman and when a woman is enrolled inside woman registration she comes for 2nd visit, you just have to scan the QR code in follow-up to get his previous saved data.

Child registry is basically used by UCMOs, LHWs to register a new child without doing vaccination. This reporting is used to make every child part of the system.

Adverse Event also known as AEFI means reaction occur in child just after any vaccine dose is administered to him/her. If a child comes to you within 30 minutes after dose is administered and tells you any harmful effect then you would need to report this case in AEFI (Adverse Event), telling the vaccine details you administered to child.

You can easily search a child, woman, zero dose in 10 different ways. These ways include name,fathername,gender,district,cnic,mobile number, EPI number, date of birth, Husband name etc.

Saved forms is basically made for vaccinators who are using application in offline mode. They can vaccinate a child and save it, doing so the form will be shown inside saved forms.

You can easily do meta data sync & offline data manually as well by clicking on navigation bar After clicking on navigation bar, you will see offline data sync and meta data sync. Click on them and it will lead you to updated responses from server.

You can easily change your session by clicking on navigation bar. After clicking on navigation bar , you will see Session tab. Inside that tab Activity type is shown. Click on it and change it according to your need.

There are 7 type of reports which a vaccinator can access from application. It includes Daily immunization register, Permanent Register for child&women, Children&women defaulters, Offline daily register and Zero dose from child registry. You can access it by clicking on navigation bar and check reports portion. Inside reports, you will see all available reports and you can use it according to your need.

No, Defaulter list is only available by vaccinator wise or center wise. Those children whom enroll inside that vaccination center or by any vaccinator linked to that center are shown inside the defaulter list.

You can easily find recorded Zero dose by clicking on Zero dose in child registry inside reports section. It will be downloaded by union council wise

My sites and communities will lead you to add your outreach sites which are linked to that particular UC. Communities will lead you to add villages linked towards that outreach site.

Vaccination site means to add outreach sites linked to that vaccination center from where that vaccinator is taking the vaccine.

Following are the steps needed to add vaccination sites and communities: Click on Navigation bar inside main dashboard page. Click on My sites & communities Click on Add vaccination site Add all Outreach Vaccination sites with target of that Outreach site At the end, add outreach site image where you are doing vaccination When you complete register the Vaccination site, Move to community. In Dropdown menu of Vaccination site, You will see all outreach sites you have added inside the vaccination site. Click on Add new Community Inside the form, choose location where this village/community/group of houses exists and choose vaccination site in which that village exists Write community name and target for that community Click on Register. Note that your communities target should match with the target of vaccination site you will give.

You can easily access by clicking on navigation bar inside main dashboard. After clicking on navigation bar, scroll down and you will see NEIR learning videos. It will take you to youtube videos tutorials.

Following steps needs to be taken out while updating my location in application after the district focal person has change it. Click on navigation bar on main dashboard. Scroll down and you will see Settings tab. Inside settings tab, click on App Reset(Clear Data/Cache) After clicking on yes, it will take you to App info inside settings of application Inside usage, You will see storage button Click on Storage button Inside Storage, Your used space is shown for application Below you will see clear data and clear cache option. If a child/woman comes for vaccination and vaccinator don’t have vaccine or the vaccine which needs to be administered was different than the actual date on which he/she needs to come then vaccinator can simply click on any vaccine label whom he wants to schedule. Clicking on label will lead to 4 options, first is schedule by default, choose appropriate date on which you want to schedule and click on done. Doing so will schedule that particular vaccine date to new date.

Retro button deals with the previous vaccination record of that child/woman whom not entered inside the system. For example, If a child comes for Penta-2 and vaccinator followup him/her. Clicking on vaccinations shows that Penta-1 entry isn’t being entered for this child. Vaccinator will click on label of that vaccine, and click on retro button.It will allow to add previous date of vaccination for that vaccine. Match the date with physical epi card and then click on done. Doing so will appear Penta-2 entry as well for vaccination if the gap is filled of 28 days.
